"I will be flying from JFK to MNL with a 23 hour layover/stopover in Bangkok, Thailand in mid-August 07'.
I'm traveling on Thai Airways on an economy E-ticket.
I'm just wondering if they will give me a complementary hotel or some sort of compensation for making me wait almost a full day for my connecting flight." |

"NO WAY! They will not give you anything. I just went on travel in
August of 2006 and they made us wait for the next connecting flight for like almost a whole day. Word of advice is to please bring spare clothes because you will feel unclean going days without showering. Have a laptop or ipod for entertainment because it will be the longest wait ever. It is also very hot and muggy in the upper floor of the airport makes you feel uncomfortable. In the lower floor it is very cold that you need a jacket scarves mittens gloves lol. Choose wisely." |
