"so im thai & my friends vietnamese & right now hes trying to say that vietnamese food is super similar to thai food & im saying its not.
hes never had large amounts of thai food but hes eaten alot of vietnamese food & vise versa for me. so im asking anybody whos had a lot of both..
are they REALLY similar? " |

"We have both Thai and Vietnamse food all over the place here in Australia and I have eaten both and they are NOT that similar. SOME dishes are the same only because they are from the same Chinese influence origin (say, stir fried beef in garlic and pepper)
My opinion is - NO." |
